Rainbow Middle, Glencoe, and The Etowah County Career Technical Center. I am married to
Bill Campbell. We have two children, Josh and Emily.  Josh is married to Kristen; they have given
us two beautiful grand-children, Evelyn Ruth (Evie) and Caleb.  Our daughter Emily lives in Atlanta

Early Childhood Education includes content that helps students learn to direct and operate an early
childhood education program as well as prepare them for a career in the elementary education field.
Topics presented to students include:  Organizational Structure, personnel policies, rules and
regulations, liability issues, principles of human growth and development, interpersonal skills,
developmentally appropriate activities, individual and group activities, organization of teaching
materials and supplies, learning activity centers, lesson plans, teaching aides, operating equipment,
play and recreation activities, dietary needs of children, preparing snacks and meals, child health
and safety, and community resources.
The Etowah County Career Technical Center operates a school-based day care program for 3 and 4
year old children to provide students with experiences that are essential in developing skills
necessary for teaching and caring for children.  This program provides a basis for several career
options including teaching, childcare, childcare management, and child development. Students
have access to three different programs pertaining to child care with a variety of classes.  The
programs are as follows:  Early Childhood Education, Teaching and Training, and Professional Support Services and Administrative Support.
